Martindales have now successfully completed the transition to a new uPVC profile provided by WHS Halo of Sutton Coldfield. The Eclipse profile offers considerable benefits to consumers. Not only does it have a larger and sturdier cross section which provides greater thermal performance, but is also a closer match to the majority of frames already in use across the UK.
UPVC Production Supervisor Jason Hughes commented “Although switching to the new profile has meant that all of our computer controlled fabrication software has had to be reprogrammed, we have experienced only very minor teething problems in production. These have been quickly ironed out and we are now ready for the busier winter months.”

This has been done at no extra cost to the insurance industry, yet reduces the likelihood of customer dissatisfaction due to us being able to more closely match with existing frames within a policyholders property.”
