As part of its commitment to quality, Martindales are pleased to announce the introduction of a state of the art Elumatec precision bead saw to its uPVC fabrication facility.
Utilising the latest measuring technology, the equipment electronically measures and stores up to 250 bead lengths. These are transferred to a high precision computer controlled bead cutting machine to ensure 100% bead production accuracy.
Commenting on the new acquisition, Andrew Frith, Operations Manager said “Quicker and more accurate than our previous processes, the Elumatec machine means that we can produce consistent results time and time again. This is important to us as our ISO accreditation demands that we continually seek improvements in quality and productivity. With this latest addition I would be surprised if any other frame manufacturer could boast a more technologically advanced production facility than we have now. Commissioning and training on the new system has gone smoothly and we are confident that the machine will achieve payback on its significant investment very quickly.”
